The CHIME Education Foundation
In 2007, the College of Healthcare Information Management Executives
(CHIME) created the
CHIME Education Foundation as a charitable organization to support the educational
development of the next generation of healthcare IT leaders. The Education Foundation
will be providing scholarships and tuition for attendance at a variety of educational
conferences and events, and will support the development and education
of current and future CIOs.
"We are proud to announce the formation of this charitable organization," said CHIME
President and CEO Rich Correll. "Supporting the development of the CIO profession has
always been at the core of CHIME's mission, and the Education Foundation will allow us to
expand our reach in this important area."
The Education Foundation funds a variety of scholarship and fellowship programs that
give CIOs and their staff members access to executive-level IT education through CHIME
events and other relevant educational programs.
The Education Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization; all donations
are tax deductible to the extent permitted by law.
