I am pleased to welcome you to the CHIME Education Foundation website. After perusing this site, I am confident you’ll agree that the Education Foundation is an exciting and meaningful endeavor for the CHIME organization.

The Education Foundation was created in 2007 to help nurture and develop the next generation of healthcare IT leaders. The Foundation provides scholarships and tuition assistance to CHIME members and future CIOs for attendance at a variety of educational conferences and professional development programs.

Our mission over the last several years was to add even more scholarship opportunities to those that we already had in place. As you can see, we have been extremely successful, and we aim to continue growing over the next several years. We are proud and excited to be able to award the scholarship funds to so many outstanding, deserving applicants.

Based on the caliber of the scholarship applications we consistently receive, the Education Foundation and the educational assistance we provide will be helping many qualified candidates grow into the next generation of successful healthcare CIOs.
